My musical upbringing within a family of instrumentalists and producers has deeply shaped my journey as a composer and producer of ambient electronic music myself. By blending contemporary piano and original melodies with modular synthesisers, I create a unique fusion of classical influences and technology. From 2017 to 2019, I honed my craft at The BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology, where I studied Music Performance and Production, achieving top grades across all modules: 3 distinctions.
My main music inspirations are Agnes Obel, Joep Beving, Warpaint, Omar Apollo, Lorde, Frank Ocean and Jungle.
Professional Skills and Interests – Current
I am an ambitious creative strategist with a versatile skillset across marketing, social media & content design, copywriting, PR, UX/UI design (websites and apps), graphic design, recruitment & sales, and music production. I am currently the social media and content marketing executive for Business Show media – the media team operating the world’s biggest live business events, The Business Show.
I am proficient in producing engaging multimedia content for various platforms, including print, digital, social media, podcasts, blogs, vlogs, and videos. My expertise includes designing captivating graphics, crafting compelling copy and managing PR efforts, such as press releases and editorials for clients. I have recently written all content in The Business Show’s showguides for both print and digital (The Business Show Asia, The Business Show LA, and The Business Show London’s 50th Edition), which reach audiences of 80k (including entrepreneurs, business owners, SMEs and start-ups) across the UK, US, and Asia.
I am well-versed in tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, Figma, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, SocialBee, Mailchimp, various CRM systems and more.
UX/UI Design and Web Development
I am very interested in UX/UI design and am currently completing a course with Google & Coursera. My UX/UI skills are highly relevant across various roles in the digital space, shaping the way I approach problems and think as an individual. I maintain a strong understanding of design principles, storytelling techniques, conducting thorough market research, competitor analysis, and informed creative problem-solving.
My ability to design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that have been thoroughly researched and tested, ensures that marketing campaigns are not only visually appealing but also highly effective in reaching and resonating with the target audience.
Additionally, having studied a short course in Web Development, I understand the basics of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, GitHub, and Bootstrap, and have coded a website from scratch. My experience in coding has granted me a comprehensive understanding of the entire design process. This insight enables me to make informed design decisions, mindful of the limitations and possibilities within the technical framework, and therefore ensuring the feasibility and effectiveness of my designs or creative input in an end-to-end scale.
UX/UI Recruitment & Sales Skills
In my role as a UX/UI Design Recruitment Consultant, I cultivated a diverse skill set in sales and marketing proficiency. Confident in client and account management, I seamlessly navigated client meetings, both in-person and virtually, to create strong relationships and drive successful collaborations. My experience also involved providing strategic solutions when identifying skill gaps and talent acquisition. As a market expert in UX/UI design, I collaborated closely with creative directors and heads of design, offering specialist insights to restructure their teams with optimal talent, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
